The GAGB has been contacted by Sheffield Council Ranger Service who are keen to have local cacher(s) place caches on their land but don't have the budget to do so themselves.

I walked the whole round walk yesterday with a GPS and pinpointed all the existing Waymarks. There are lots of exposed rock faces, bridges, veteran trees with holes, etc which might be suitable. The best spots lie in the Porter Valley, Limb Valley, Ecclesall Woods, Ladies Spring Woods, Graves Park and the Gleadless Valley. If you want to pass on my contact details to anyone who might like to place a cache I would be happy to support them. The land is all council owned and I have permission from the woodlands and parks managers to run the project.

Anyone interested needs to contact The Wombles of the GAGB who will pass on your contact details.
Visit the thread on the GAGB Forum.
